First Annual Miniature Garden Contest Winners
UPDATE: This annual contest has been cancelled unfortunately. There were too many people complaining when we tried to enforce the VERY simple and straightforward contest rules! It became NOT fun for us – unfortunately.
Congratulations to Shannon V. of New Mexico!
Thanks for all who participated and accepted the invite to the Facebook event. It was a success and your response was very encouraging. We are organizing to do it more often so stay tuned for more fun!
Checkout the entries in the below. Entries that didn’t follow the criteria were left out here, but can be found in the Two Green Thumbs Miniature Garden Center Facebook album. Leave a comment for the entrants if you like – let us know what you think!

These are wonderful! My father-in-law builds miniatures–fishing villages are one of his favorites. He even crafts the people himself. So much creativity and more options than I ever imagined. Great contributions.
First and foremost, I’d like to Congratulate all of you for your imagination and success in creating Miniature Gardens. I think your success if defined by anyone looking at your garden and being able to imagine themselves walking around. Bending down to deadhead the flowers, or remove a weed. (kidding). Truly, your gardens are Fun! So Thank each of you for sharing!!
Wow! These are fabulous and some of the best I’ve seen. They actually make me want to do one.
Lol! Hi Kylee! I would LOVE to see a gardener extraordinaire like you would do with this idea. ;o)
Oh boy, Janit! I wouldn’t call me a gardener extraordinaire. I just like to try new things! These are really gorgeous. I don’t know how on earth you were able to pick a winner!
It was tough! Really! It got down to the nitty-gritty in the end. Five categories judged on a scale from 1 to 10. Highest points was the winner which made it a lot more objective. We’re revving up for a Halloween Miniature Garden Contest launching this week – we may have to add a new category for spooky fun! Lol! ;o)
