This box was made about 15 years ago for an exhibit for the Seattle Miniature Show. We don’t keep it on the ground or it would rot quickly. Having your miniature garden up on a box or pedestal not only makes it comfortable to work on, if your container is made of wood it’ll last much longer!
You’ll find all the plants, parts, patio and pieces at Two Green Thumbs Miniature Garden Center!
You can get that full-garden look with true miniature and slow-growing plants. Using annuals and herbs starts won’t last…
The miniature garden is a great place to put your full-sized garden fantasies like this bathtub planter. I don’t have room in my full-sized garden for this, but I do in miniature! “You CAN have it all in small!”
Plant a little mystery in our miniature garden by obscuring it a bit or placing the detail towards the back of the planter. It forces the viewer to come in for a closer look to see the delightful details.

Using some of your larger miniature garden trees as a wall in the back of the planter creates the perfect backdrop for your wee scene.
Most of these details I can leave outside in the weather. I’ll bring the cake inside for fear of getting that Donna Summer song stuck in my head, “Someone left the cake out, in the rain…” :o)
Adding a little critter to any scene makes it come alive. Some prefer people, I prefer animals. It’s your own little world to do with as you wish!
The bird’s-eye view. If you didn’t know it, you might think it full-size! Find your plants, parts, patio and pieces at Two Green Thumbs Miniature Garden Center! We’ve been building and growing the hobby since 2001.
